Tune in Tuesday: Ben Gibbard & Feist
Let’s take a little trip back to 2009, shall we?
In that year, I was graduating from college. Meaning I was working my ass off finishing my thesis, presenting my thesis at a conference, defending my thesis, trying to figure out grad school, and also enjoy being a college senior.
I mostly failed at enjoying being a college senior. Instead I angsted around, having panic attacks and emotional breakdowns as I ALSO helped my best friend plan her wedding.
Jesus, I am really so selfish that I forgot that part. Ugh. I hate me sometimes.
Anyway. In the midst of doing those things, somehow the news that Feist and Ben Gibbard were collaborating on a song landed nowhere near my radar. Which means that I discovered it about a month ago.
Better late than never, right?
