October 3, 2013
INT. DAY—Busy New York City restaurant during the lunch rush. Restaurant is the type with different “choose your own” stations—salad, panini, pasta, etc. Each station has a long line. HE draps his bag and suit coat over a chair, signifying the table is taken. SHE adds her cardigan and they join the salad line.
HE
“When do you get paid?”
SHE, excitedly. It’s clear she needs this paycheck and will be excited to see some money in her bank account.

“And that’ll last until, what, Friday?”
