Crush of the Day: The Eat, Pray, Love Trailer
I am not a Julia Roberts fan. I don’t dislike her by any means, and I’m not going to knock her acting chops, but I don’t have a particular affinity for her either. So when I heard that she was going to star in the adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert’s best-seller Eat, Pray, Love–which I have paid next to no attention to, in fact I thought it was a self-help book–it didn’t put me into a tizzy of excitement like I’m sure it did to some other women.
However.
After seeing the trailer for the film, I desperately want to 1) read the book and 2) see the film. My attraction to it may be in part to the liberal use of the Florence & The Machine song in the trailer and the brief appearance of an Asian elephant, but nevertheless, I’m really excited for the movie. And I think it’s because the trailer is so damn good. Check it out below.
