Crush of the Day: Google’s Josef Frank Doodle
July 15, 2010
I spend an inordinate amount of time on the Internet. And, I know it’s hard to believe, but sometimes the Internet is really, really boring. But one of the things that always makes me smile are the Google Doodles. And today’s Google Doodle is particularly great.
Look at how cool it is! But beyond it’s visual-yumminess, it’s a nod to brilliant architect Josef Frank, who helped found the Vienna School of Design and was known for using lots of bold colors and patterns.
I am all kinds of obsessed with Frank’s work, so I was quite delighted to see today’s Doodle when I went to Google to search for (brace yourselves people) a newbie guide for World of Warcraft. I have my reasons for looking for it. Just trust me.
