NYC Apartment Hunting: Volume 2

Apartment Hunting is a lot like sorority recruitment. There’s a lot of smiling and nodding and laughing and mutual judgment. But when the right opportunity comes, it just clicks for both parties involved. Everything works out for the best once you allow yourself to make the decision that is best for you, instead of the decision you think is best for you.

I’m glad to report that after much finger crossing, praying, and wishful thinking (much like what happened on the night before U of A Bid Day 2005), I officially am going to be living in the oh-so fabulous apartment in Astoria! *crowd goes wild*

I can’t even begin to explain the sense of relief I feel now that I have a place to live. And, more than that, a place that I like with people who are great! Now if I could just land a job….
